Project Management

Project management is one of KHAN ’s core services, helping to deliver our consulting, engineering excellence and construction services to our customers

KHAN ‘s PM/PMC Service will be available throughout the implementation of the Project and will arrange project management team, combining the skills and resources of the PM/PMC with highly effective management tools and systems to, provide Management Consultant Services to meet the project and the client objectives.

KHAN has been providing project management services for many years, providing construction management advice and support, health, safety, sustainability, environmental and quality direction and support, and commissioning and start-up as part of our services. Our project management services span all our sectors including government services, power and oil & gas.

KHAN has developed and refined Project Control Systems, procedures and specifications for the management and control of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of process and industrial facilities oil, Gas field, Offshore plant and worldwide.

We have a common approach to project management when executing projects within KHAN. It combines an assurance framework for project delivery with access to a comprehensive reference framework of guidance, best practice examples. It is part of a fully interfaced set of work processes which sets out the KHAN way of working. Together these processes give us a blueprint for our standard approach to complete, successful delivery of all our projects, every time.

Project Management Services

Managing and leading the project team.

Recruiting project staff and consultants.

Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work.

Detailed project planning and control including.

Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan

Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan.

Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary.

Defining a contracting strategy for the project

Select contractors for the various phases of the project

Agree and monitor project scope, cost, schedule and progress

Agree project procedures (quality plan, contracting plan, technical standards, etc) with contractors

Participate in meetings with suppliers and contractors

Review and approve/reject change orders

Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary.

Monitoring project progress and performance.

Providing status reports to the project owner & sponsor.

Managing project training within the defined budget.

Managing consultancy input within the defined budget.

Final approval of the design specification.

Managing project document, blueprint, PID, drawings.
